How to Get Your API Key
Create an Anthropic Account
Go to console.anthropic.com and sign up for an account. You can use your email or sign in with Google.
Add Billing Information
Navigate to Settings → Billing and add a payment method. Anthropic uses a pay-as-you-go model, so you only pay for what you use. You can also set spending limits.
Generate an API Key
Go to Settings → API Keys and click "Create Key". Give it a descriptive name like "Vibe Coding Plan".
Copy the API Key
Copy the key immediately — it starts with sk-ant-. You won't be able to see it again after leaving the page.
Add to Vibe Coding Plan
Go to AI Integrations in your Vibe Coding Plan dashboard, find the Anthropic card, paste your key, and click "Save API Key".
Pricing & Usage
Pay-as-you-go: Anthropic charges based on tokens used. Input tokens and output tokens have different rates.
Spending limits: Set monthly spending limits in your Anthropic dashboard to control costs.
Free credits: New accounts may receive a small amount of free credits to get started.
Security: Your API key is encrypted and stored securely. It is only used when executing tasks in your projects.
